BURNMATERIAL is my favourite track on this album, production is tight, groove is there, bouncy, fun
thing ive felt with this whole project, is it sounds fun and its produced super tightly but idk it just doesnt make me think about anything - its just entertainment, pretty surface level. thats not to say i didnt enjoy it, it just didnt make me feel very much - especially when i compare it to a a project like [[brakence-hypochondriac]].
as im listening my thoughts are not evolving, this is a fun record — it has me bopping my head, but its not blowing me away in any aspect other than perhaps some of the production, where there are some genuinely super clean moments.
so while I enjoyed this brief project, it definitely doesn't hold anything up to the likes of brakence or Glaive for example. the production was genuinely very solid, I just feel thats mostly the only place this album shines. I am glad to be hearing from tsubi after all of this time though, hopefully next time with something more cohesive.
