this whole album rollout was so sweet to watch, having been introduced to olivia's last album 'Messy' a year earlier, i was excited to hear the singles dropping and showing a deeper production maturity and definitely a shift to a more mainstream, palatable sound, but i really enjoyed it. I recall touching toes being the first single to drop, it immediately was a draw and gained traction fast across social media. this single wasn't on the album... much to my disappointment, but definitely cemented the shift in her sound to a slicker production style and a catchier songwriting theme.

nice to eachother was the first REAL single leading up to this album release. it remains one of my favourite tracks on this cut,

another highlight on this album, baby steps - ahh the production is just so smooth, everything tightly couples together, the vocals are on point, you can hear Olivia's pain through the delivery its just chefs kiss.

and then another heavy hitter with 'a couple minutes' which perfectly describes the feeling of revisiting someone you once knew, the pain is there, the pull towards that person - you can really feel it. the songwriting here is gorgeous, the production, stripped back and just... full.

this album was one my favourites of the year, well timed release, impeccable, crisp production and just an overall joy to listen through.
